Opposite of fish eye

Post by Phil »

Hi there,

I'm trying to add an effect on a piece of scenery I filmed and I need the opposite effect of Fish Eye. The camera pans right to left and I need the edges to curve in/up to give that "rounded feeling"

Also, I would like to give it a cinematic look. I can add the bars top and bottom but what else do you suggest guys?

Cheers,

Phil

Hi Phil

Use the overlay tracks to create the borders.

Try the Pinch filter ------ seems to be opposite to the Fish Eye

You can of course use up to 5 filters,(I think its 5) so a combination may get the effect you are after.

Using a PNG image to shape the edges may also help, similar to applying a frame from Chroma Key

Hi,
I'm after the same effect. I have a wide angle lens on an Action Cam, I would like to remove the wide angle effect for the entire length of the video. I played with the 'Pinch' filter. It starts out good, but the Pinch filter seems to be in motion. Is it possible to pause the pinch effect where I like it most, and keep it there for the entire video clip?
Thanks

Hi

You can Customise the Filter
Double click the clip in the timeline to open the Options panel, choose Customise.
You can change the effect set on the Keyframes
Add keyframes by using the "+"
Right click a keyframe for Copy options.

Hope this helps
