Hi all,
I'm using a trial version of Paint Shop Photo 2010, trying to make a simple slide show with music. I downloaded into my laptop from my desktop, 137 pictures already organized and sorted by me and numbered sequentially (using my old faithful, but antiquated PAINT SHOP PHOTO ALBUM ). However!! When I bring this into PSP2010, all the nicely numbered pictures are scrambled! And I can find no way to do a simple file sort by "Name" (i.e. number). OH YEAH, I can sort my File Folders by name!! But that does me no good.
PSP2010 leaves me with no choice but to hunt each photo from memory (no file nos. are showing now) and drag it into the tray. That's totally silly. Anybody out there able to show me the ropes on this? I must be missing something in the learning curve perhaps! Thanks!!

I think you're missing the fact that that "express" software with PSP's name never made it past 2010. They attempted to integrate some of its features into the Project Creator that came with PSPX3 but that also didn't go well.
Seriously, have you tried Picasa? It's free from Google and has some very nice simple editing and slide-show making features.
Otherwise I'm sorry I can't be of much help but those products were not worth it back in 2010 and I don't seem them being worth it now.

I couldn't agree with Levi more. I was just about to say as much, though rather more cuttingly, when I saw Levi had already posted. The whole Corel Digital Studio 2010 package was a major disaster all round. Corel "kindly" sent me the package to try out. I played around with it for about a day, then removed it from my computer. The disc sits in a dusty closet somewhere. So I would advise you simply to uninstall the trial and try something else.

Thank you both for the good advice! After I posted that question, I followed your advice from a couple weeks ago, and started working with Google Picasa just to see what it can do. So far looks very promising! Pays to test drive stuff before buying it. Glad I didn't buy the PSP2010 or I would be "jacked!" Thanks again for your help!
