Adding multiple movies to the template??

Post by Transferman509 »

OK:

Just wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction.

I have been successful in creating a movie file in the create a movie file section without any problems.

I am following the directions that are in this forum on how to do up a movie file and burn it to a disc without it taking hours and hours to complete.

What i need to know is, how do you add mutliple movie clips to a menu template, if you have chosen to customize a menu to accept more than one movie file??

For example, i have done up 5 home movie files taken from 5 different 8mm movie clips afer having transfering them to my camcorder and then to DVD disc. Now i have followed the steps mentioned in the sticky notes on this forum on how to edit, burn to disc etc.

I am now ready to add all five movie clips to a template, when i add them all to the timeline and then go to the next step which is to create a disc with the menu, all five movie clips are then added together to get one movie clip in the menu??

How do you add all five movie clips separtley so you can access any one of the five from the menu that i have customized to be able to add five movie clips??

Any help would be appreciated very much.

If you have already created the 5 different video files, then just start with a BLANK timeline, go to create disc, and add video files, this should get 5 different clips on the DVD menu.

Your doing it the wrong way round open UVS and with nothing at all in your timeline go to "Share >> Create Disc" and then use the "Import Video" function there to import your 5 seperate videos - you should then have what you want.
