Smart Download and GA 5

I cannot get anything to download when using the smart download! Anyone know what's up with that? It was working fine but now nothing!
Also...GIF animator v 5....starts to open then I get the '...has encountered an error and needs to close...." Now this only happens on my laptop, not my desktop PC and both computers are running the SAME OS, Windows XP Pro. I'm getting very annoyed!!!!

Anyway, I called tech support tonight and didn't wait long and got the answer I was looking for... it appears "smart download" no longer works so you just need to download the components here:
