Hello,
HELP please=> When dealing with vector, it is just to click in image with "pick tool" to appear a tool bar where object align/distribution is available.
But when dealing with raster, this tool isn't available. The only way I found is through "menu=> objects=>align". To raster images, is there similar vector tool bar to access direct object align/distribution?
Thanks in advance,
Cadu

Re: Toolbar to access object align
Technically, prior to X4 you had limited access to alignment options for regular raster layers. Also this is a function of the pick tool. It has a different set of options for rasters than it does vectors and they don't share.
In fact it's this separation that has me a little peeved. Because while you can align quickly with vectors you can't move, distort, and control vectors the same way you can with rasters.
Now you can create your own toolbars. Go to View -> Customize.
In the Customize dialog select the toolbars tab and click on the button labeled "New". This will create a brand-new toolbar. Now you can go to the commands tab and start dragging all of the commands and tools that you want to use. This includes alignment options. So if you want quick access to alignment just create your own toolbar.

Re: Toolbar to access object align
Hi,
Thanks! The customized tool bar worked great!
From your answer, a new question appeared. With raster images, the pick tool is able to make perspective changes. But in vector, it isn't. I tried to find this tool to customize my "new tool bar", but I couldn't. Is there any tool to make "fast" perspective changes in vectors? How to make it available in customize tool bar?
Best,
Cadu

Re: Toolbar to access object align
You can still do perspective deforms using the pick tool.
The pick tool for rasters allows you to enter in the perspective distortion in a number field but that isn't your only option.
If you hold down the Shift or Ctrl keys before clicking on one of the corner nodes it'll switch between the modes.
Shift + Click = Shear mode
Ctrl + Click = Perspective mode
Shift + Ctrl + Click = Free deform mode
In Shear mode if you hover over one of the middle nodes you can skew the the vector.
