The problem here was that for double-click install the plugin file would awaken ASPro and appear to be installing but actually was not (not writing data to the files path to /library/....plugins.
I found an old zTEXT folder in the files path ...../library/........plugins which was giving the appearance of install and functioning for setup/preset in ASPro v.1.2.07 and showing the © text on the ASP edit displayed file but the text was not showing on the output file.
I deleted the 'old' zTEXT plugin folder, there was no zSHADOW or zFRAME folders because I did not know before now that it was mandatory to intall zSHADOW or zFRAME to have zTEXT work properly.
Not working for me at ASPro v.1.2.0.7: are the install types 1) double-click install nor 2) drag to ASPPro, for any of the plugins.

But, AfterShot Pro, File, Install Plugin... did work and each did install correctly with that procedure and zTEXT preset works as expected.
