Hi tintin,
I've not experienced the freeze problem on my system.
So nothing to report there.

Don't worry. :D I've just suggested it because I like the watermark effect a lot, and I also know of others who also use it. Take your time and when you can, think about it.

Thanks for zText and all of your other plug-ins!

Hi!

Together with tin.tin I have tested ASP with zText in several different linux flavours and
desktop environments. Here is a small summary of the findings.

In the following environments, everything works as expected and fully OK:
ESC or mouse click on Close closes the About box, ASP is still functional.
Alt+F4 or mouse click on File/Exit exits ASP nicely.

OK:
-------
Linux Mint 12, 32 bit edition:
-----------------------------------------
Gnome 3.2.2
LXDE 0.5.0
XFCE 4.8.0.2
KDE/Openbox!!!!!

and

OK:
------
Mandriva 2011.0, 64 bit edition:
---------------------------------------------
Gnome 2.32.1
LXDE 0.5.5
IceVM 1.3.3.7
OpenBox 3.5.0

and

OK:
------
Mageia 2 beta 1, 32 bit edition:
---------------------------------------------
AfterStep 2.2
Enlightment 17
Flukbox
Gnome 3
IceVM 1.3.7
LXDE 0.5.8
MatchBox
Window Maker 0.95.2
XFCE 4.8

The only environment the ? About button does not work in is thus KDE
Plasma Workspace!!!

NOT OK:
Mandriva 2011.0, 64 bit edition:
---------------------------------------------
KDE 4.6.5

and

NOT OK:
Mageia 2 beta 1, 32 bit edition:
---------------------------------------------
KDE 4.8.0

Mouse focus settings for windows (sloppy, automatic, etc) do not
affect how the About box behaves.

Cheers,

Using zText v2.1.0

How do you add a watermark to all images in the Thumbnail view?

..also was wondering why the "?" in the plugin popup box labeled this as zFrame.

SMALL problem with zText and zShadow

Post by nyukuri »

i have a tiny problem with zText and zShadow:

both plugins require a lot of space (a wide panel) to be fully seen! Fot these two plugins I always have to widen the panel to see them, while all other tools and plugins adapt fine to my preferred panel width.

Maybe these two can be adjusted in future versions?
