Error video aspect ratio/display hor size(720) should be 540

Always when I capture my VHS movies to DVD, I allways get the message: INVALID video aspect ratio/display horizontal size (720) combination for DVD, display size should be 540. Can not set MPEG parameters. File is unusable and will be deleted.
I have several things tried out with the capture settings, and when I use a lower resolution then it works, but then it isn't a DVD but a VCD. And this is not what I want.
I have a Intel pentium4 3.6G with VGA: GeForce FX5200 RAM 128Mb. USB 2.0 Compatible.
Can somebody help me with this problem.
