bananahead wrote: However you have a bug. If you switch on the History display and just make some random changes (to build up a history) then when you click anywhere in the history you get "Initial Settings" applied. Try one of your presets with History displayed and you should see it straight away.

Please can we have a fix for this?

(tintin had the same problem in zFrame)

Hi! The Nuance plugin works correctly with me, but the presets dont?

They contain this instead of actual settings:

Code: Select all

bopt:Nuance.Nuance_settings="#_WH_HP_IA_BL_Tp^yN_eY`??_??_??;#_ia_IW_JT_J`_eY^yN_eY`??_??_??;@__E^{t^qC_bE_XX^hW_rL`??_??_??;#_Zg^ur_Lo_EY_C^^kr_eY`??_??_??;#_b]_Dh^nz_KI_Dp_MD_eY`??_??_??;#_lJ^j[^~m_KI^pQ^pQ_eY`??_??_??;@_fd_T~_eg_Or`P?_??_eY`??_??_??;#_X`_EB^cT_G|_FB_He_eY`??_??_??;@_`A_]__In_FB`P?_??_eY`??_??_??;#_Ri_La^q[_Ac_GS_G|_eY`??_??_??;#_mG^pU_ch_IN_eY^[I_eY`??_??_??;@_me_KA_jd_G|`X[_??_eY`??_??_??;#_QY_KE^\d_Dp_Fk_G|_eY`??_??_??;#_bS^ey_TT_Iw_FB^dG_eY`??_??_??;@_Yw_cK_Qb_Bu`@z_??_eY`??_??_??;@_so_Ad_qW_GS`i@_??_eY`??_??_??;#__v_^y^va_He_]m_Tp_eY`??_??_??;#__?^mR^lh_J`^{r_FB_eY`??_??_??;@`??_??_??_r{_\o_Ug`Kr`??_RL_fk;#_rL_??_??_He_YN_RL_eY`??_??_??;#_eY_??_??_KI_RL_J`_eY`??_??_??;#_Xe_??_??_DG_J`_Bu_eY`??_??_??;@_Kr_??_??^HV_??^ns_kI`??_??`WS;@_??_??_??_??_??_DR`??`??_??^dG;"/>

Ah now I understand, I need version 108, which is available on the corel plugin site, and not from Sean's page where you pay for the full version... Makes sense ;-P

Thanks very much for upgrading this plugin!

Though I think there is a bug in the plugin, similar to the bug tintin had in his plugin zFrame. Please have a look in this thread for more information: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=45421

In short: with the plugin installed I get maximum CPU usage by browsing through the catalog. The algorithm which rebuild the preview images is caught in a loop and causes the CPU overload. If you need more information then please let me know! Also you may contact tintin to ask for his solution sice he fixed the bug in zFrame, maybe the cause is the same.

MeneM> Thanks for letting me know that my site didn't have the 1.0.8 version; it does now. There's too many places to post these plug-ins around the web now. It's one more thing to forget.

madsec> I'll look into the 100% issue, thanks for the tip.

Ianr> I'd love to bring Claire back. It all depends on whether plug-in sales ever get back to the level they were in B4 or not.

bananahead> I'm looking into this but I'm not optimistic that history is going to truly work properly until an underlying settings bug in ASP is fixed. If I can at least stop it from barfing "Initial Settings" all over the place that'll be something.

Thanks.

Version 1.0.9 of Nuance is now available from my site at http://nexi.com/nuance as well as on the Corel site. Main change for this version is a fix for the history bug. There's now more clarity in the history about what's changed and you can easily step around without Nuance corrupting the history. Also, and related, the currently selected patch no longer clears when you change images. This might clear up some CPU usage problems, although I've never seen them so I can't be sure. Let me know how it works for you!

I am sorry I have to report this....
Version 1.0.9 crashes on my system (Win7 64 Ultimate)
All I have to do is open an image, open the Nuance panel and click reset.
Windows then tells me AfterShot Pro has stopped working.
As no-one else reported this so far I must have something unique here?
Everything works as advertised with version 1.0.8
I will be happy to provide you with more details if necessary.
Enjoy!

Herman.

When will the color picker be implemented?
Cheers
