Thanks for the quick reply! It's a done deal now. Should be an automated way to do it...

The more hands on delete-it-from-the-file-system method may be fine for those who do not mind "working under the hood." However, there absolutely should be a better, more direct, and obvious method to uninstall (i.e. remove) a PlugIn right from within ASP.

I have to say, after trying to help my girlfriend with updating ACR in her photoshop elements on a mac (which is a plugin ), that was definately more difficult than ASP/bibble. There are even 2 versions still active. So all in all, removing a folder is not that difficult....

What I would like, is that rather then stumbling upon forum posts about updated plugins, plugins would signal their updates automatically. But that will probably only happen if there is a plugin manager.

A simple interface to uninstall a plugin would be really nice.

I'd also like to vote for an plug-in-manager with the ability to install, uninstall, update and search for new plugins. Well, and maybe also to change the tab order ;-)

I believe a plugin manager to unistall order/rename the tabs etc. would awesome. I like the way ASP currently checks the plugin version when I install a new/updated plugin. This way I know if I already have the same version or how far I am updating. I am also mindful of programs which go to the web on a regular basis... I would suggest perhaps when we start ASP and it checks for ASP updates that it also check for new or updated plugins. In other words build on what we alread have to get our plugins under control.

I would hate to see our very slim and trim, fast loading ASP get bloated. YMMV.
