Hi Trevor, You can relax.................I uninstalled VSX4 and re installed. Last time from the zip folder I used Setup.exe but this time I used Autorun.exe (this is not immediately visible when you extract the files but setup.exe is and was the only .exe file visible so I asked Corel if this was the one to use and was told "yes" but when you click the icons you see there is a autorun.exe file so I gave that a go) It said it would download utilities an option I did not have before..... Anyway understand or not, I watched as the download unfolded and saw the Smart Sounds Quicktracks 5 come up as it went along. All done, and I launched the program and low and behold the SS Quicktracks were available once I did the updates they all came in. hallelujah!

As to the proDADMercalli20 error message which appears when you try to launch X3,this feature is only available on X4 and I was told by Corel there is a way to stop this message but best just ignore the message. The message in no way affects the program so ignore it.
Well, there you go. Tell your patrons to use the Autorun.exe file and not the setup.exe and all should go well. I wish to sincerely thank you for all your help. Be aware that I have not added all the extras!!!!!!!!!!! I am feeling much happier now but was surprised how slow the X4 seemed to be. I am in the process of doing a big clean up in the hope that everything will speed up. Huge thanks to you. Rae
