Some plugins always have been sold for some small fee. Gradfilter had one free version and this pro version. Now the free version isn't continued, but I think it's worth it!

Thank you Roger for getting Grad filter pro back in business.

For Anyone on the fence about paying a few bucks - this one would be cheap at twice the price.
Its actually less expensive than buying a few squiggly light bulbs which you can't change the color or intensity of.

A great way to correct/enhance unforeseen lighting problems to say nothing of creative possibilities.

Hi, I have one question. Does graduated filter allow to manipulate only exposure, or is it something similar to lightroom gradient tool?

Hi ptr,

As outlined in the software designer's website, GradFilter Pro simulates a set of graduated neutral density filters as well as tinted graduated filters. Of course these filters can be used to e.g. darken a bright sky so that both the sky and subject can be properly exposed. Exposure control and maximising of the image's dynamic range are thus the subject.

Given the many options to control both strength of the filter effects ('subtracting' or 'adding' light) and the transition from original to filtered regions of an image makes this plugin very versatile and powerful.

On the way of how ND filters work: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graduated_ ... ity_filter

Cheers, d-light

I choose a color : yellow. so there is a yellow cast on the sky : OK
I click brighten, the yellow is now on the other side of the center line. ????

When you click the Brighten option with the default black color selection then it appears as nothing changes. But when you switch the color anything other than black then the bottom half will be brightened. I believe I read about this somewhere....perhaps on the developers site.
