Tile background image
Tile background image
Hi, I know this is possible in PI but I can't remember how I did it the last time - I have made a nice looking pattern which I want to use for a background image, but I want to cut out part of the image so that it tiles correctly. I know there is a function to do this in PI 12 and PI X3, which can even fade the edge of the tile so that it fades correctly, can anybody refresh my (aging) memory? Many thanks.

Re: Tile background image
Wouldn't you have to use an external filter for this?
In Artistic you can apply the Brick Tiles effect to an image.
Open your image, Effects, Artistic, Brick Tiles.
Another one is from the Galleries, under Special Effects, Tile.
There is also Background Designer from Web on the menu bar.
You may get further information from here. PIRC Forum Database Type in the PI search Tiles and you will get a few tutorials to show.
