Corel .wi -fileformat

Can I/How can I open old Corel .wi -files in Corel PaintShop Pro X4?
I have a trial version but I could buy the program if it can open and convert those files.
Is there any free converter which can do this?

*.wi files are wavelet compression bitmap files, this file format is not supported by PaintShop Pro X4, but it is however supported by PhotoPaint X5, so if you want to open the file on PSP X4, then you can download a trial copy of Corel Draw X5, that will include PhotoPaint X5, then open the *.wi file on PhotoPaint X5 then save it to any file format that PSP X4 supports, list of supported file format of PSP are listed here http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... -and-Write

but I would suggest that you save it as TIF, so that you can open then open it on PSP X4. You can download the trial of CoreDraw X5 at http://pnoy.me/coreltrials
