Fonts on PaintShop Pro X4

Post by Gary »

All of my fonts on PSP Pro X4 are double-lined and hollow in the middle. What is that? Surely that is a mistake of some kind. How can I fix this so that the fonts are like they should be?

Text is a vector inside of PSP. All vectors have a stroke and a fill. The color for your stroke(outline) is defined by your foreground color (from your materials palette) and the fill(The inside) is defined by your background color.

So if you have your background color turned off or if the fill matches the color of the layer behind the text it'll appear hollow.

So edit the text and make sure to either turn the background color on or just change the background color to match the foreground color.

You may also want to check the line style as well as the font style. One quick step to reset all the settings of your PSP X4 is to reset your workspace. Though will also reset your customized settings as well.

You can do that by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key then double-click on the PSP icon then when you received the message "DO YOU WAN TO RESTORE PAINTSHOP Pro TO ITS DEFAULT STATE?" just click OK.
