Bez 1.0.0 for ASP - tonality controls plugin

Post by ferdinand-paris »

I have ported to ASP a plugin I previously wrote for Bibble 5. Bez was written to provide some additional controls for manipulating tonality. You can get it from my website, where you will also find documentation:
http://www.ferdinand-paris.com/bibble/
I will put it on the ASP plugins directory once I am given access to that part of the site.

Ferdinand, I have downloaded Bez 1.0.0. I have been using your beta version in ASP and find it almost completely replaces the basic adjustments feature for me when processing images from D7000. I highly recommend it. Do you take donations?

I'm surprised that this hasn't been asked before. No I don't take donations. There are several reasons for this, but the main one is that I had so much help at several points from other plugin writers, and used a lot of their code, that it wouldn't seem right for me to be taking donations for something with significant contributions from them. Especially V1.0.0.

So if anyone really wants to make a donation, please give 50% of to spoilerhead and 50% to kbarni. IIRC both of these individuals accept donations.

There is a way to position some of the basic adjustments next to Bez, for those who are interested. I haven't tried this in ASP, but since it worked in Bibble5 it should work in ASP. Anyone who used earlier versions of Bez in B5 will have seen it, with the additional "Bibble Tone Tools" panel. The idea is that you take a copy of basic tools ui file, rename it, place it the same folder as the Bez ui file, edit out the bits you don't want (this is the hard part), and include it in the Info.afpxml for Bez. I'll test this and post more detailed instructions for anyone who is interested.

AFX will no doubt point out that you can get much the same effect by pinning tabs that you are interested in, and while that's right, pinning Basic Adjustments takes up a lot of vertical space in the right pane.
