VSX3 vs VSX4

Post by erdna »

When I create an AVCHD video file in VSX3 it has a .mpg extension, which seems to be program stream file. When I use VSX4 for for the same AVCHD file creation it turns out to be a transport stream file (.m2t). As such not so important but YouTube has problems with TS files. So, uploading an AVCHD file created in VSX4 messes up in Youtube. An AVCHD file from VSX3 (.mpg) works OK. Nobody noticed this difference?

I don't know the exact explanation about this but I think it was already discussed on one of the thread why VS X4 now uses *.m2ts instead of the *.mpg. Anyway if you want to create a AVCHD quality video file in *.mpg format, then you can create your own movie template, so that everytime you need to create a video file that you will upload on Youtube, you can just use the video template that you created.

You can visit http://pnoy.me/1F for information on how to create your own movie template.
