The new Ricoh GRD IV has been released last autumn. I hoped for Bibble to support the cameras DNG format (which I thought to be a standard format and therefore to be supported automaticaly) but it didn't.
Now that Aftershot is the succesor of Bibble, when will it support the Ricoh-DNGs? I'd really like to buy this software but since I can't work with it it doesn't make much sense for me.

Re: Support for Ricoh GR Digital IV?
As I see that there are several requests to support new cameras, could the developers give a rough outline of the roadmap and tell us when a new version will be available?
In fact, there hasn't to be a new version at all - might it not be better to put the camera support into a kind of modul/plugin where you don't need a new program version but only one file to update since new cameras are a quite common phenomenon?
Or just tell when downloading/installing the program which camera support you need since many people only have a few cameras and not all which are on the market?

Re: Support for Ricoh GR Digital IV?
I actually did this
What I'm interested in is a reply - when can we expect support of Ricoh GRD IV.
Doesn't the Bibble/Aftershot team read the posts here? Maybe you can give a hint?
I heard rumours that there will be a new version soon but is it only a rumour and when is soon?

Re: Support for Ricoh GR Digital IV?
Well, I've just got bad news regarding my last thousend DNGs from Phil Harvey, the develepor of Exiftool:
"The problem is that the camera is storing an incorrect value for the
SubIFD1 preview image length (tag 0x0117). In this image, the stored
value is 115200, but the length of the JPEG preview is only 93416
bytes. Trying to read the full 115200 bytes runs into the end of
file, so ExifTool reports the error and won't write to this image."
Now I don't know if the incompatibility of my camera and ASP lies in the wrong file format (as the DNG format is supposed to be a standard file format) or would it still exist without the error.
I've written to Ricoh now, wondering what the answer will bring.

[SOLVED] Support for Ricoh GR Digital IV?
Although it's not mentioned under "Additional Camera RAW Support" Ricoh GRD IV is now supported under 1.0.1 - Thanks!
(maybe the last firmware update which corrected an exif-bug is also responsible
