Is there a way to copy text from a jpeg file with PSP?

I have a picture file(jpeg) with a text in Japanese that I want to copy from. I've tried the trick with Microsoft Office Onenote&word(for those of you who know it) but it didn't work. Is there anyway to do it in PSP?

I don't know of any such feature in PSP. Generally, an OCR program would do better at getting text from an image.

That being said, a quick Google search indicates that there may be an OCR plugin or two available for PSP, and there may also be a couple of them for Photoshop. (Some Photoshop plugins are compatible with PSP.) However, I have not researched any specific plugins for OCR.
