First, I have lots of files with different properties ( SD and HD files) and all files have different properties. My goal is to edit each individual file, save as individual project file (VSP) and create individual final video file, however with an option. The option is to change any property of that individual video file.
Since creating template would not work with all different video properties, how else should I create a final video file to be able to change only the video bit rate (VBR)?
After editing a file, in when I select “SHARE/CREATE VIDEO FILE/SAME AS FIRST VIDEO CLIP”, the “OPTIONS” does not give me the option to change any individual property. That is, the video files that have too high VBR, I would like to reduce their individual VBR only and leave the rest of the other properties alone.
How can I achieve that?
Thanks.
Can I Change The Video Bit Rate only?

Re: Can I Change The Video Bit Rate only?
if you could change any options then it would not be "Same as First Video Clip" anymore - it would be 'custom'.
I would suggest that what you need to do is set up a custom template for a video file, with the bitrate etc. set to your requirements - then when you have finished editing your variety of video files you render each to a video file using that template, that way when you come to create your final video all the components will already be identical.

Re: Can I Change The Video Bit Rate only?
OK! I believe that would work. Since all the videos have same properties except the VBR, then a custom template would do it. I will make one for SD videos and another template for HD videos. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi
I assume this is a continuation of your batch convert post.
Try using Settings – Make Movie Templates Manager to create your templates.
There is an Add function that may work depending on the original files properties.
Once you create a template, edit to change the bit rate.
If the “Add” function does not recognise the video file then you have to use the “New” option to manually input the properties.
The templates will be available from Share Create Video Files –next to Custom option
