Public bugtracker?

Post by rubin110 »

Hi there. I'm allergic to web forums but would really like to provide the Bibble/ASP team with bugs I fine while running their software (like erroring out silently when importing a directory of single channel TIFFs). Is there a publicly accessible bug tracker I can file issues in? Thanks!

I have gotten direct contact from the development team as result of using survey monkey and further correspondence resulted in bug elimination. They apparently take the comments seriously....

Maybe they do... but how about:
  • see the filed reports?
  • search the current bugs?
  • duplicated entries?
  • have you tried to attach something? :P
  • etc
So, this maybe good for some individual feedback, but surely not for bug tracking. The forum also not the best solution, because if they really read it, it needs a huge amount of work to collect everything from comments and keep a REAL bug list... Thats why there is a lot of good bug tracking system for tracking bugs, features request, and so ;)

Unfortunately, time showed us that nor Bibblelabs and I suppose much less Corel are willing to show all bugs and work pace publicly.
Of course, everybody from interested users would appreciate public bugtracker, but, I do not expect to happen that.

No it is not. It is an answer to the question of rubin110 where he could send bugreports...
