How to set audio compression different than PCM for FLV vid

I am creating video in FLV (custome mode). The only audio compression option is PCM which makes video too big.

How do I add different audio compression codec for FLV video? With other video formats/codecs mpeg-4 I have many moore audio compression options, but not for FLV.

Strange, when i do Share Create Video File-Custom-Flash-Options i see Mpeg Layer 3 Audio as the default audio option.
I am unable to select any other option.

That's interesting Trevor, but I am in the same situation as kafi, and can only choose PCM. If instead of Custom I choose Share > Create Video File > FLV, the properties box only shows this for audio "22.050 KHz, 16 bits, Stereo". But this is the same as is shown under Compression > PCM in Custom. And like kafi, I cannot find a way to choose any other audio format.

OK same as BrianCee, Ken and kafi... it could be with his audio card or audio codec that is installed on lata's computer.

Very strange, I had to double check

My audio is VIA High Definition Audio, part of the main board.
As far as I know I haven’t installed any drivers other the ones that come with the main boards disc.

It must be due to the main board having the HD audio. I checked mine, and only have the PCM audio choice as well.

I checked my Laptop Windows 7 and that shows PCM.

I would expect the renders to be larger using PCM, and indeed they are quite a lot larger.
Glad I can create Mpeg Audio
