I'm testing the trial of X4, and it opens in an unpleasant window which has a dark gray background -
is it possible to change the color of this background?

Basically download and install SP1. http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... id=3000009 although I don't know if you can install it to a trial version.

We told them to. We wanted color icons and the interface to be lighter. Sadly I think many of us said the actual pasteboard area was okay dark so that option never changed between any of the others.

I'll never get why they don't just let people pick the colors, or just read it from a file so those who want to can configure it.

Well, I'm hoping for a change in the future - and not just the drawing area also in the menu and icons.
I wish this for the simple reason it is HARDER to read dark text on dark background.
Which is why books have been printed with black letters on white background for centuries.
