driver for cd writer

Post by ghostline@msn.com »

I am a new useer of Ulead. The other day I pluged in a Sony digital cam corder. Ulead launched and re-assigned my G: drive from my cd writer to the sony. Now I can't get windows xp to assign the G: drive back to the cd writer or anything. When turning on my computer the bios reconizes the cd writer. Any ideas what Ulead chaned to assign the G: drive to the Sony?

This has got nothing to do with Ulead. Your Windows OS may have reassign the drive letters. Go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management - look for your CD writer. If it's there, check for the drive letter or right click to change path & drive letter. If it's not there, probably it's a connection problem. Is your writer an internal or external. If external, use another connecting port.
