I am a long time user of Corel products - have been since Corel Draw 5. Just upgraded from Paintshop Pro X to X4.
Nice to see the developments. Because I have felt the viewing of images needed to be better in previous Corel offerings I have always used Fastone or ACDSee to view images prior to editing in Corel Software. The reason for this is that the images load faster (In fact even in X4 there is an obvious 2 stage load - presumably low res version first, which does not happen in Faststone etc), and they allow me to move from image to image by rotating the wheel.
I can see that the Manage portion of X4 is sufficiently quick (despite the obvious 2 stage load) and I was thinking of ditching Fastone, but the deal breaker is that moving the wheel mouse zooms incrementally rather than navigates. Is it possible to alter this behaviour? I also have a back and forward button on my mouse which other programs recognise, could that be mapped also in Corel. I can only see keybindings and shortcuts in the options? Is this really something for the wishlist?
