I have the stand alone version of the software. I just went from version 2.0 to 2.1. I am rather disappointed with the new version. I made a clip using (Microsoft MPEG 2) codec and it plays fine in my players and in Vegas. However, in Videostudio X4 Pro it plays poorly. If I recode it with AVCHD 60i 1920X1080 it becomes usable in VideoStudio. Why the recode? How can it be made to work like it does in Vegas, the first time? Can Corel fix this. The 2.0 version WMV worked fine in ViderStudio X4 Pro. The 2.1 has slight hesitations, albeit it has more WMV selections than 2.0. Can this be fixed? I am staying with 2.0 for easy of use. I don't like to recode when it should not be necessary.
