Well, maybe this codec is not so popular over here... But I am among the people that stores every single video on his hard disk, and of course there is no way that I would keep DV files on it...
DivX 5 support was already bad in Media Studio PRO (it was really hard to get a two pass encoding done ... ), but at least it was possible.
I just upgraded to DivX 6 and I'm disappointed to see that the DivX codec is not available anymore on my list in Media Studio Pro... I would highly appretiate if somebody finds a way to take it back... or if Ulead releases a patch or something.
Of course I can create DV files and use another soft for the compression later, but I don't always have that much room on my drives...
It is a shame that Media Studio Pro is such an amazing Video Editing software with such a poor codec integration ... I'm just thinking about how long it took to get the problems with WMV solved..
I hope that this part will be really better when the new version comes out.
DivX 6 support ???
