An important question-file mismatch. Urgent

Is it possible to view videos created in Videostudio version 8 through version 7? I had version 8 and my computer crashed so I had to format it and re-install everything so i got version 7 and now I can't open my old files (which were created with version 8).

Please help!

probably not (because there's most likely software updates in VS8 that VS7 will not recognize -- in the project file) :(

Can you re-install VS8 ?

Or upgrade to version 9 .

Yes, however files created are not backwards compatible. So anything done in VS9 can not be used in earlier versions..
