WinDVD Pro 11 constantly stutters

I just have tried the trial version on my HTPC Windows 7-U-64-bit having Core 2 Quad q6600 with 8 GB ram with ASUS GT 520 silent connected via 1.4 HDMI to external Denon avr 991 and further to EPSON 3010 via HDMI.

After installation tried 3D BD and it constantly stutters. What could be the reason. I did not try 2D as my main concern buying WinDVD 11 is for 3D BDs.
