VS X4: Cannot create a HD project - all options missing

Hello!

I can only create project with SD frame sizes. 720p or 1080p is not offered in the Project details setup.

Also when I want to capture from a 720p webcam I can only select "DVD" in the dropdown list for the capture proifle. Why are all the HD features missing and what could I do to solve this?

Have you tried changing the source of your capture?

Hi
Don’t bother to much about the Project Properties, provided they use 16:9 then your HD video should display correctly.
After editing you will create a new video file of the project
Share Create Video File – using one of the HD templates, maybe Mpeg4

There is the option to use Make Movie Templates Manager to create your own template.

I can’t help with capture as each device may give different capture options, (mine uses 4:3) but yes my USB capture device only allows for DVD.

Press the Options Cogwheel-Video Properties to view the templates available.
