hello spoilerhead,
have posterization when using Wavelet Denoise
(did not notize when applying - had to search a little bit what is causing this
but it seem to be Wavelet Denoise) values here:
Lum treshhood 22 Detail 0,8
Color treshhood 52 Detail 2,5

left wavelet denoise right noise ninja

Dear Hannes

after installing all the plugins i don't normally use, i guess the culprit in your case is Equalizer, see the attached sample (using some overly extreme curves to pronounce the effect).
It just gets "boosted" by WaveletDenoise, ad it makes a more uniform color out of the noise. You don't see it with NN as NN leave more residual noise (your WD settings are quite aggressive)

also note that kbarni states in http://support.bibblelabs.com/forums/vi ... 54#p100254 that extreme values in equalizer can lead to such effects.
