Computer Freezes When Trying to Install X3

I just bought PSP X3 and am unable to install it. The autorun window opens, but I can rarely make it past the licencing agreement, sometimes to the serial number entry, before everything comes to a complete standstill and I have to restart my computer. I've tried installing it under a different user with no luck. Help! Thanks!

Try turning off any and all security software. All of it, even the ones that you rarely think of. Turn off UAC. Turn off the Windows Firewall. Turn off Windows Defender. Turn off any third party security software.

Right click the installer, run as administrator.

See if that gets you any further.

Thanks for the tip! I did try that, and without luck. It still freezes. =(
