Choosing buring speed in Ulead CD&DVD Picture show versi

I am wondering if anybody noticed that when you choose a slower burning speed to burn a DVD in the Option of the Burn menu of the CD&DVD Picture Show Version 3, the buring speed always default back to maximum speed once it starts burning a disc. I have a Plextor PX-712A DVD writer and when i chose the burn speed at 4X before burning the DVD, the buring speed always default back to the maximum speed allowed by the burner, which is 12X for DVD+R, even though the DVD disc is a TDK 8X DVD+R. Near the end of the burning process, I always got a standard microsoft error message indicating that Ulead CD&DVD encountered a problem and needs to be closed and asked me if i want to send the error message to microsoft. I am wondering if this error message has to do with the buring speed. Anybody experienced the same problem. It may be a bug that needs to be fixed.

Try updating your burner's firmware version and so with ulead's burning engine: http://ftp.ulead.com/pub/Updates/burn_n ... 1_pack.exe
