VS X3 Burner crashes

I have a problem with VS X3 due to the fact that the burner crashes. I have made some DVDs with it previously. I have loaded VS X4 trial version and that will burn the DVD. I do not feel that I should buy the new version just to get the burner. The error message is:

When you say the burner in X3 - X3 does not have a burn module - so you are directed to another programme - but which one - did you take up the free MovieFactory offer ??

Just like what Brian mention VS X3 does not have an internal burning module, you will need to either use DVD Factory Pro 2010 or the DVD MovieFactory 7 Se which you need separately. It will be installed when you install the VS X3 SP1.
