Only recently, when burning 50gb Blueray discs (either -R or -RE) the program crashes due to a mpgmux.dll error.
This always happens between 5% and 8% of the video multiplexing stage. I have version 1.1.6.15 of this dll file.
The files in the project are all imported from DVD+RW discs I made some years ago.
Now it has begun happening even when I use 25gb Blueray discs...I am using MF6 HD Plus. How to solve this?
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

And now this, when I try to open any other project:
Problem Event Name: BEX

Because of these two errors, MF6+ is now 'rendered' totally useless.
Registry cleaning? Reinstall entire program?
Anyone can help??

Re: mpgmux.dll/stackhash errors
If you've been able to burn BD before then one of the program or updates that you or Windows (auto-update) installed caused conflict with DMF 6. You may want to check the paper-trial and see what are the programs or updates that where installed from the time it was working and from the time it started to act weird. You may also want to update your DMF 6, you can download all updates at http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... id=1300001
Also... officially DMF 6 is not compatible with Windows 7 "http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index.jsp?pgid=800577" so this can be one of the problem caused by incompatibility of DMF 6 with Windows 7.
There is a workaround for you to make old program works on Windows 7, however we cannot assure you this is a 100% fool proof. You can use the Windows 7 Program Compatibility which are both from Microsoft.
You can follow the steps for Windows 7 Program Compatibility from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/wind ... of-Windows

Re: mpgmux.dll/stackhash errors
After replacing MF6 with MF7 Pro, the "stackhash" and "mpgmux.dll" errors have
disappeared. The problems in MF 6 were unrelated to new programs, updates or system changes,
since none were added or made. The computer is kept mostly offline and used solely
for video editing. However, I think I have identified a certain file type in my project
which causes trouble, no matter which MF I use.
In MF7 Pro, I now encounter an "H264vDec.dll" crash some, but
not all of the time. I suspect the troublesome files are ones I imported off discs I made
in a stand alone DVD recorder--discs in the "DVD+VR" mode. When I try
to burn a Blueray disc with these files, the errors and crashes occur, all the more
when I use the +VR files together with .m2ts files (from an AVCHD camcorder).
When I remove all the DVD+VR files, the errors and crashes are gone.
In sum, to burn a Blueray disc with all .m2ts files poses no problem.
And the DVD+VR files can be burned to a DVD with no problem.
But try to burn DVD+VR files to a Blueray disc, whether in MF 6 or 7, and you will have Big Problems.
(The purpose of the project is to save space: trading 9 or 10 DVD+VR discs
for just one 50gb Blueray.)
