Boris Grafitti crashing VS x4

Longtime (1980s) user of CD, PSP and VS. Just installed VS x4 Ultimate package along with the titler plug-in Boris Graffti. I was going through the Graffiti tutorial and couldn't get any text onto the text window and when I try to shut down I get a "unable to create gl context" and VS x14 crashes when I close out the main Boris Graffiti window on the bottom of the BG layout. The I get a VS x4 shutdown warning and two error dumps. Anyone else have this problem?

This will be the first time that I've heard this kind of problem. Anyhow from the error message that you are getting, this appears to be a problem with your video or graphics department of your computer. When was the last time you updated the video card driver and direct X on your computer? If not, then I suggest you do so.

Joy!... Checked all my drivers... I had an old Vista driver for a HDTV receiver NAS from SiliconDust. Updated it to W7 driver, Boris Graffiti works now... thanks a ton ....
