Picture but no sound

Post by billmc »

Hi, first sorry for this question but I am new to this, I have just bought EasyCap adapter with audio it came with VideoStudio 10.0 and I am trying to copy my old holiday videos from my Hitachi VM-E210e 8mm camcorder which plays fine on the tv with sound but I only get a picture on my preview screen on my laptop and the sound from the room not from the video, the camcorder uses a yellow and white jack plugs to a usb, so the picture is ok but the sound is not from the recorded tape in the camcorder. i am using win 7 Home Premium, also I am totaly confused as to what to save them as (dvd, wmv etc etc) I would like to save them to disks to give to the family to work on their dvd players and computers.
Any help ?
Regards
Bill
