i havent used adobe raw conversion for quite a time, but back in the days when i did - 2003 to 2005 - i very often had results from click-WB that i could not get when i just tried to dial in the values. that was what i meant when talking about the "we hide what we do" - from my experience the click WB and click grey are done in one step. user friendly on the one hand, but taking away control, too. now if they would call the tool "click neutral" - i'm all in. still waiting for my feature request "click to RGB" to be implemented..

anyway, the G3 really seems to be not behaving that well.
found some more images with fluorescent light that show the same tinting.
Bibble since 2004. Aftershot until 2020. From then on darktable.

Did you read the entire thread? It´s not a special problem of a G3 profile.

I observed this bug with Canon EOS 5D,20D, Powershot G10 and Nikon D5100. Others reported Panasonic G3 and Canon 7D models.
I checked some of my AL-Raws with Lightroom, CaptureOne, and Silkypix and all of them worked as expected. No colorcasts at all. It´s only ASP who´s generating this greenish colorcast.

Is that "click to RGB" the feature I know from a friend's photoshop, with which you use can use the eyedropper to select the color from one image and by "click to RGB" can modify a second image's clicked point to show the same color?

That would be really a great addition, especially when you have a series of images in slightly changing light situations.
