I'm interested to know how many PSPx4 users have been tempted by ASP. How many have made the leap from their old RAW converter to ASP because of the Corel link?
Just curious.
It would also be interesting to see if any Bibbel 5 users jump across to Corel.
Regards

Here for one (although already a very long time PSP, PhotoImpact, Mediastudio, CorelDraw, DVD Workshop, etc... user).brucet wrote:...It would also be interesting to see if any Bibbel 5 users jump across to Corel...
You will already find quite a lot of Bibble users in the ASP forum!
Some of them quite unhappy with the board structure
The $ or € or £ upgrade price will make sure that many will come here.
For RAW... Bibble was my program (until I found out that LR3 produced better quality in the details in most pictures).
Occasionaly followed by some work in PSP (as most pictures come out perfect from such quality RAW converters).
Have a little bit of a love/hate relation with B5: apart from glitches in handling details on some pictures, it is a wonderful piece of software. And ASP looks to be it's worthy successor.
Can but hope that the switch to ASP proves to be a leap in the good (quality) direction and that communication from the owners here is of another leage than the one at Bibble used to be

Re: PSPx4 and AfterShot Pro
I tried it because of the Corel link and pricing. I used Bibble but found it unintuitive and find ASP the same. For the price, it was worth a shot, but I will continue to use LR. With version 4 coming out, I doubt I would upgrade ASP when upgrades become available. Not saying I'm not a fan of PSP..... I think it is a great program for the money and will continue to do much of my extra editing in that. But for raw conversion and basic editing, I'll stick with LR.
Adverts for Corel products when you close PSP don't bother me.

Re: PSPx4 and AfterShot Pro
I would be another Bibble user making the jump. I've been due to take a look at updating my ancient copy of PSCS; I'm tired of running it in a VM on my Win7 box. PSP was on my radar already, the change prompted me to actually take a hard look & the price I was able to get to made it virtually a no-brainer.
