Apple Product

Post by Rich2Putt »

It's been awhile since I've been here and considering going from a pc to a macbook Pro.

I've done a search and went on Corel's web site but unable to find an answer. Does Corel have Video Pro for the Mac?

FYI....I'd rather not partion the Mac to add Windows 7.

Thanks,
Rich

As far as I am aware, until Corel's recent launch of AfterShot Pro, none of its audiovisual programs, including VS, have Mac (or Linux) versions.

I'm not a mac, nor apple, person, but Apple always differentiated their mac's from pc's by their video editing and handling. If I were Corel, I can't imagine making much money by doing VS in the Mac since the Mac is supposed to have exceptionally great video editing and handling already... Al

I'd rather not want to learn another software (must be my age). I've used VS for too long to switch.

Thanks for the feed back.

I agree with aljimenez. But it's been in the news lately.. Corel just acquired Roxio® Business from Rovi Corporation, with the added expertise from the Bibble folks, I'm sure Corel will/is thinking of porting some of it's popular digital media product to other platform like Mac or Linux.

But that's just my personal opinion. (Hopefully I won't get in trouble for that). :)
