Hi,
I´m not the one who complains about any small issue .... already got used to the fact that an update of the RAW-processor (e.g. B5.2.2 -> B5.2.3) may cause adjustments in colors, WB, etc .... just want to say that I do not expect exactly the same results when comparing Bibble with ASP.
BUT, applying the AutoContrast feature of the "Curves" seems to be a bit to strong in ASP, not just compared to Bibble.
The top image is the unprocessed, the bottom image (the selected one ... histogram belongs to it) is the same, but applied AutoContrast.
Camera: EOS 60D @ ISO1000
With Bibble:
With ASP:
Note: on some images it´s not as bad as with this one ... but something seems to be wrong in this area.
Is there somebody out there with the same issue .... or even anybody who cares ?
Need the RAW-file ? -- Just contact me by PM or ask here.
Cheers
Markus

Each raw converter is different. You need to play a bit to get to the settings you like.
Things that usually need adjustments are:
Autolevels/Autocontrast: The thresholds are a bit aggressive, use 0.01 instead of the default 0.2

I had already fixed the clip levels, but on some images auto contrast throws histogram way off to right. If I move high slider right to bring the histogram back in view, it still doesn't look like autolevels did. Even on those where auto contrast doesn't throw the histogram right, auto contrast is rarely similar to autolevels, while in Bibble5 they were nearly identical.
