+1!
And if possible, please make those corrections optional, as they are with all other camera/lens combinations.

I would also like to see this since I do not use ASP for my Panasonic G3 raw file even though support has been implemented. Makes no sense without the design required lens corrections applied!

I have ASP with the latest updates and it still does not support Fujifilm .RAF raw file format for the HS30EXR camera. At one point Corel said they would be supporting Fujifilm raw files, but that support never happened (except for one Fuji camera). Now we are being told that the ASP developers will be adding a number of new cameras in the upcoming ASP update. I asked Corel about support for Fujifilm cameras and was told that at this time the ASP team does not know which cameras will be supported in the update.

Hmmm, let me see if I have this right. The ASP team posted a message to this forum stating that an update will be coming out soon and it will include a number of new cameras, however, they don't know which cameras will be supported nor do they know if/when the update will be released. Any wonder users of Corel products often feel a bit confused? Looks like I am going to have to head back to Adobe once again for my software needs. Grrrrr.

Corel, please make an effort to support the Fujifilm EXR line of cameras. Thanks!

And please work on support for Fujifilm X-Trans sensor cameras as well!

I think it is a 'good old tradition' since the ol' Bibble days not to support Fujifilm RAF  . It was then, when I asked for support of the S9500 bridge camera and there was no eta.

I would appreciate if ASP would support RAF file conversion, but the implementarion is a tedious task due to the 'strange' sensor layout of the finepix cameras. But it can be done, as shown by others.

Best regards

Well I would be the last person ( maybe there are others :-) ) to use adobe, but if AS were to be able to read DNG, then the DNG converter program would allow
AS to read most files available today. I have used the DNG converter to enable Capture one, for example, to read Kodak Raw files.

So I would suggest, get over the DNG dislike, ( instead of dying a natural death ), and add the ability to read them and let AS flourish, with its ability to read almost all files ..... Simple.

I agree that Corel should do a better job of supporting the various raw file formats out there (whether through direct camera support or DNG). It just doesn't make sense to me that a software company would offer and promote a dedicated RAW file editor/manager and then not provide much support for the very kind of files the software is supposedly made to handle. And I know that some folks here on the forum will say that it is an awful lot of of work to support the various raw file formats out there. Sure, but then again isn't that what Corel is supposed to be doing as part of its business model as a giant software company? Innovating, creating, and supporting software products? Doesn't seem like an unrealistic request to me.

Hello,

Separate folder for the cache would be a good idea IMO.

For a long time I wished there was an easier way to deselect one of the multiple images I am viewing. I know two ways, neither of which I really like.
1. Scroll to the thumbnail and ctrl-click it. That's not always convenient because I sometimes select images far apart from each other.
2. Press CTRL+D to deselect all. I don't like that either because it deselects all images at once. I have to reselect images I want to continue viewing.

If I could, I would map CTRL+D to deselect one image and CTRL+SHIFT+D to deselect all.

I am using ASP under openSUSE Linux.

What I would like to have for the (or "a") next version would be a better import dialog. I would like to see thumbnails of the photos that I will download from my SD card.
Also, lens correction could be better. I have several lenses which are not calibrated in ASP, although they are pretty standard lenses from Olympus. Actually, m43 cameras
embed lens correction information within the RAW files, so perhaps Corel should get in touch with Panasonic/Olympus to find out how to use this information in ASP.
If this is not possible, there should at least be a way to add new lenses to ASP's database without having to edit text files by hand.

You can already do so now, just navigate the mount point of the card and browse for the images to download.

I'd really like:
- CA removal based on the lens settings. Perhaps automated although I don't mind setting it for myself, just not again and again.
- vignetting removal based on the lens settings. Perhaps automated although I don't mind setting it for myself, just not again and again.

And I'd like a performant Library.

I haven't found a way to let my library not follow the same structure as my folders.
I want it to be a flat folder with all my files but it is as follows below.

And a second thing about the library is that the metadata browser can't show me all the photos of a certain month regardless of the year. It can only show a certain month within a certain year.

As a nature photographer the month/season is important to me, not which year it was.

You are right, that works. Although I still think that there should be a quick "Download from Camera/SD card" option that opens an import dialog with thumbnails.
Right now, I have to manually navigate to /media/faber/disk/DCIM/101OLYMP. If I would introduce my mother to ASP, she would have no idea where to look for her
photos.

that's why my mother still uses a camera with analog film. =)
