Up until very recently I was a contented user of Video Studio 10 plus. I was using my old laptop however (and simple camcorder) and so was considering reformatting the hard drive to get some performance back. Concerned about not being able to re-install Video Studio I was experimenting with the software and (unfortunately) tried a "repair installation". That seemed to run okay, but when I tried to open the program again it asked for the activation code. I found this from my original purchase documentation (from Feb 2007), switched off virus guard and firewall, and submitted the activation code. It was not accepted, presumably expired.
Could you advise if there is there some way of getting a replacement Activation Code? Thanks.

Re: Replacement activation code
The only way would be by approaching Corel and asking for one. This is a user to user Board not directly run by Corel, and we certainly can't do anything about getting a new activation code. But I seem to recall some other users finding that they had used up their quote of re-activation. They approached Corel and got the code without any apparent problem. The only possible problem I can see in your case is that your version (10) is now fairly old, and Corel apparently are not supporting anything older than version 12.
