PSP x4 and hard drive space

Post by duane518 »

I have PSP x3 on my computer, it uses over 1 gig of space on my hard drive.
I just installed PSPx4 on my computer and it only uses a little less than 400 megabites. Is this correct, or is something
not right here. Also did they replace Express Lab with Adjust?

Express Lab has been updated and renamed as Adjust, yes. It's still the express lab with an extra bit of pep.

As for the size, don't worry it's supposed to be that way. In fact X3 was oversized.

I was not aware of this until I read this post... and immediately checked. Levi you're correct! :)

The only reason that I can think why PSP X3 is larger than PSP X4, is that PSP X3 has the Project Creator and the Photo Downloader, while on PSP X4, those two program are not included.

this may not be the full story.

if you install sp1 it dumps a copy of the update in temp and in appdata, you might delete the one in temp over time but the one in appdata is there to stay and that is 400meg or there abouts
