95% through rendering and this error msge.....

Hi guys

I was rendering a 48min project to MPEG2 when the error message appeared and VS Pro3 stopped working. I tried to locate the error file shown in the screen shot, but there was no log of the error at that location ???

Anyone else had this happen?

Hard one.
Have you enough room on your drives for both the final file and the tempoary file which will be the same size again?
WHat sort of files do you have in your project?

The error file is the .DMP file - there is no standard windows error log.

Hi again
Yes I do have oceans of room in the hard drives for temp + final video file. The content are photos (430) pan & zoomed, large TIFFs + layered audio.
I rebooted everything and reloaded the project and this time got through the whole rendering process successfully. So maybe it was a one-off brain **** on the part of VS Pro3 ?
Anyway, as usual I appreciate the responses and suggestions for help.
