I would appreciate some help please
I wish to use the Speed TimeLapse effect (actually slow motion)
I have a clip that last approx 8 min
I would like to "slow motion" only a portion of the clip approx 20 sec.
Is it possible to apply the effect without having to cut/trim the original clip......
The clip properties are as follows;
ntsc/hdmv
H.264 Video
Upper Field First ;1920/1080
16:9 ;24bits;29.97 fps
Audio
5.1 Dolby Digital
Many thanks
Happy New Year to all

No you will have to cut the clip either side of the area which you require in slow motion. Do remember that all cuts made inside VideoStudio are only 'Virtual' cuts - you never change you original video file while cutting/trimming so your original is still intact so there is no problem at all with making your project into segments to apply different effects.
