X5 so far seems to work with my LR jpegs. So corel has done something about it. The only problem is I don't see any performance advantage over X4 so I don't feel I should have to spend another $79 just for a bug fix and some marketing fluff features. I hope X6 comes with some real performance increases. If I get a 36mp camera PSPX5 is just going to crawl with some of its filters compared to PSCS6 which I am demoing right now. Corel has some real catch up to do with the software code instead just maketing new features. If Corel gives me a deal I will upgrade at some point.

I had the same problem of jpgs barfing and I did not own LR. I have switched to PSPX5 and it seems all my jpgs are fine but I will check further to see if the problem is truely fixed in X5
