"Close All" command missing

Post by Tray-C »

Ok, I give up. Where did they hide the "close all" command or what was it renamed to?
It's not in the Unused Commands, nor can I find it in the File command list

That would be in the "Window" menu. I think. I don't have it in front of me to verify but it should be there.

But what I want to do is add the command as an icon on my toolbar. In order to do that I need to edit the toolbar and add the command. But...where IS it?

Again, under the window menu. So look for "Window" instead of "file" or "unused commands" . Find the Window menu under commands and it should be there.

Now there was something during the beta test, and again I do not have a copy of PSP to test this against, where some commands were not in the commands tab of the customize dialog. If this is the case you can drag a copy of the command from the actual menu onto the toolbox. You have to hold either Ctrl or Shift when dragging it from the menu but this will create a copy you can place wherever you want.

In fact, looking at Customize, under the Windows category, Close All is in fact there. And in fact you can not only drag and drop it on the Toolbox toolbar (without any use of Ctrl or Shift), but also onto other toolbars. I for instance have just dropped it up on the Standard toolbar next to New, Open, Scan...

just supplying a screen shot to what Ken and Levi have suggested. A quick and easy way to access the CUSTOMIZE window is right click on the PSP Toolbar.

Here's the screen shot of the customize screen.

Yeppers...there it was. Under Windows.
Strange that it didn't show up in the All Commands list for Close All Windows, but instead WindowsCloseAll
The menu's, when hovered, say either Close All, or Close All Images, or Close All Of The Images.
So why put it in the commands list as WindowsCloseAll.

That's ok. As long as I can have it back.
Thanks to all !
