Noticed this when going through my photos tonight. When using the full screen preview in the Manage workspace, a photo will become more magenta after every pass.
Duplicate this by:
1. Double click on an image in the manage workspace to bring up the full screen preview. Take note of the colors.
2. Press the right arrow on your keyboard to advance to the next image.
3. Press the left arrow on the keyboard to return to the original image. Examine the colors...for me it is slightly more magenta. To make this change more obvious switch back and forth between the original and 2nd image. For me, the images become extremely magenta.
I'll include 2 images of one photo....the only difference being that the "magenta" one has gone through the process above 6 times.

Can anybody else duplicate this?

Re: Manage Full Preview Color Problem
Just tried it on several different groups of two photos, and saw absolutely no change. The photos, moreover, were ones where you would think that any change in colour/tone would be easily noticeable. I shifted between most between 6 and 10 times, and with one pair did so 25 times, again with absolutely no indication of any colour shift.

Re: Manage Full Preview Color Problem
Thanks for checking Ken! If I disable Color Management then the change does not occur. But with it enabled the change happens to both JPEGs and CR2s.. What's interesting is that with Color Management disabled the images are more green compared to DPP (obviously because the profile is not applied). But with Color Management enabled the image in PSP matches DPP, but turns magenta in the manage preview. My monitor is calibrated with a profile created with a Spyder Pro.
Did you have Color Management enabled during your test?

Re: Manage Full Preview Color Problem
Color Management was on and set to basic color management. I reset it to Proofing, and it still made no difference. And there was also no difference with Color Management disabled.

Re: Manage Full Preview Color Problem
Thanks for checking again for me Ken! I just ran the same test on my laptop, and have the same magenta problem. Both systems are calibrated with the Spyder Pro so I'm wondering if it may have something to do with that. Perhaps the Datacolor software and PSP aren't playing nice together? I don't know why I run into these problems and nobody else can replicate them! Ha! But, as long as I know it's there I can work around it.

Re: Manage Full Preview Color Problem
If I set the Color Working Space to my monitor's profile (which will match the basic Color Management setting), then the color shift does not occur. But when the Color Working Space is set to the sRGB setting with the monitor profile set in the Color Management area, then the shift occurs. Of course, if I change the Color Management to sRGB then the color does not match the DPP or Photoshop display. Perhaps I am misunderstanding the Color settings in PSP.

Re: Manage Full Preview Color Problem
@Wilson, just to isolate the problem... can you tell me if you have already install the PSP X4 Sp1? Has it ever worked? I'll be reporting this to test if it is a bug or not.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Manage Full Preview Color Problem
Hi Abiel,
Yes, I have X4 Sp1 installed on both systems I've tested. Honestly, I'm not 100% sure if it ever worked properly. My brother also uses X4 and he has a Spyder calibrator, and he says he does not have this problem.
I'm thinking about creating a new profile for my monitor, and then doing an reinstall of PSP. Is it true that we are limited in the amount of times we can uninstall/reinstall PSP? (If so, I don't really want to use them up trying to fix this)
