Hi Linseymout

and welcome to the forums
You do not give much information regarding your problem, the details if the camera used and how you are connecting to the pc would help.
Please read the topic aptly named as “Please read before Posting”, (Link below), this will give you an idea as to the details we require, practically everything.
-----------------------------------
If your camera records the video to a memory stick or hard drive then you do not need to use the capture function within Video Studio. Provide more info please……..

Sorry

I have an EasyCAP that I bought. Have it plugged into my VHS machine and trying to capture the VHS video onto my pc. I have Ulead Video Studio 10 that I am using which allows me to see the video on my pc, however when I click on capture video it says "no initialization". It also everytime brings up MSI Q-Face as my camera..... not sure if that is adding to the problem?

I want to then cut it onto a dvd from my pc however can't get it to actually even copy to my pc.....

Hope I covered everything.

Hi

No need to apologise.....

At the top of this forum is a post regarding Easycap,
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=40286
There is a link to a video showing the settings using VS 10 which may help.

However some users including me purchased a fake Easycap, The device I purchased just did not work.
It came bundled with VS10SE?

ARGH!!!! That is so annoying!!!

Did you eventually find something that actually works now? Can you possibly suggest a product for me to get that will work?

Thanks

Hi

It is indeed very annoying, but some users are able to use the device.

Did you install the driver that came with the device? …this is a different file than the VS10 installation file.

I purchased the Ezcap device, notice the spelling. This came bundled with software from Arcsoft which does work.

Did you look at the ezcap web site http://www.ezcap.tv/index.html
